Penetrate & Kick 5v0: Drive Drift Replace

5v0 drive-and-kick pattern drill teaching paint penetration, drift/replace spacing, and on-time passing to shooters.

Instructions

1. Set 5 offensive players spaced out (top, wings, corners)
2. Pass the ball around, coach calls go: Player with ball attacks the paint
3. Off-ball players execute rules: corner drifts, opposite wing lifts, top replaces, 45 degree cut, etc.
4. Driver kicks out; receiver shoots or makes one extra pass

Coaching Points

• Driver gets a paint touch before passing
• Relocation happens on the drive, not after the stop
• Passes are on time and to the pocket
• Extra pass is crisp and immediate (no holding)
